Vải auxetic có tỷ số Poisson âm cho thấy khả năng hấp thụ năng lượng đáng kể nên có tiềm năng trong vật liệu bảo vệ vận động viên và các vật liệu làm việc trong môi trường chịu lực. Độ ổn định, độ tin cậy của cấu trúc và tính chất của vải auxetic cũng là một yếu tố quan trọng để đánh giá và thúc đẩy ứng dụng của nó. Trong nghiên cứu này, sợi auxetic có cấu trúc lõi/sợi bện được khảo sát để nghiên cứu mối quan hệ giữa cấu trúc và hiệu ứng auxetic của các mẫu sợi. Kết quả thí nghiệm cho thấy, tỷ số Poisson tối đa của sợi auxetic có cấu trúc bện được khảo sát là -3,0.

STUDY ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND POISSON'S RATIO OF CORE/WRAPAUXETIC YARNS

Abstract

Auxetic textiles with a negative Poisson's ratio demonstrate significant energy absorption, making them promising for use in athlete protection and load-bearing environments. The stability and reliability of the structure and properties of auxetic textiles is also an important factor to evaluate and promote their application. In this study, auxetic fibers with multiple core/wrap structures were investigated to study the relationship between the structure and the auxetic effect of the fiber samples. The experimental results showed that the maximum Poisson's ratio of the investigated auxetic fibers with braided structures was -3.0.
